We are incredibly grateful to not only have been granted financial support by the Expedition Committee at Newcastle University, but also to receive technical and a generous amount of financial support from the School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences.  This expedition would not be possible without the full support of the staff in CeG. 

Despite this, we are still somewhat short of our budget for the expedition, though our own personal contributions will further lessen the amount required we will still need more in order to give the expedition the final green light.  So we have applied to a number of external sponsors, from large companies and organisations in the field of geomatics to smaller firms in the industry for financial or in kind support.
